I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the cottage. It had such a cozy and homely feel, with the original features still intact. The general areas of the hotel were also lovely, especially the beautiful grounds surrounding it. As a senior woman, I found the hotel easily accessible, with no major mobility issues to navigate through.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or amenities specifically tailored for senior guests. Maybe some gentle exercise classes or organized day trips would have made it a perfect vacation for us seniors.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage tucked away in a tranquil village. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cottage itself was beautifully renovated, with cozy rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The surrounding grounds were also a delightful bonus, with ducks roaming around and providing a picturesque atmosphere.
The only downside was the steep stairs, which could be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Stayed in a historic building, enjoyed the patio and free WiFi. Went hiking and cycling nearby, and loved seeing the Towels in the holiday home.
Oh, how I missed the luxuries of a dishwasher! My hands have never felt so pampered.

This cozy cottage is a hidden gem! The beautiful renovation kept the original features intact, creating a jaw-dropping ambiance. The idyllic location ensures peace and tranquility, while Ann's warm hospitality made us feel like VIPs. Despite being near the main road, it was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a restful stay. The cottage had all the modern amenities we needed, including Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a well-equipped kitchen. We loved watching the ducks roaming around the village, and even had one visit our doorstep! From fresh apples in the garden to watching wildlife from the conservatory, every moment was pure joy. As a single traveler, finding such an affordable yet characterful self-catering property was mind-blowing. We can't wait to return and explore the stunning grounds, maybe even trying out some hiking, cycling, or horseback riding. The outdoor dining area and picnic tables were a nice touch, and the children's play area added to the overall family-friendly vibe. our stay at this incredible cottage exceeded our expectations and provided the PERFECT escape from our busy lives.

Stayed in a charming 18th-century building, enjoyed hiking and cycling nearby, free WiFi, and towels provided. Cons: Oh, how I missed a dishwasher! Who wants to wash dishes when there's so much hiking and cycling to be done?

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with its cozy and traditional ambiance. I loved the beautiful antique furniture and soft floral patterns that added a touch of elegance to the spaces. The general areas were well-maintained and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for people like me. The staff was always ready to assist and made sure I felt comfortable during my stay.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance with carrying luggage. The children working there were friendly and helpful, but it would have been nice to have someone offer to carry my bags up the stairs.

Stayed in a charming 18th century building with a patio and free WiFi. Explored the area hiking and cycling. Conveniently close to an airport.
Oh, absolutely loved not having towels available in the holiday home. Who needs them anyway?

The cottage was clean and well-equipped, with little touches like fresh apples from the garden. The location was quiet and peaceful despite being near a main road. The beautiful grounds added to the overall charm of the property.
There was no parking available outside the cottage, but this was not a major issue as there was parking nearby. The stairs in the cottage were steep, which could be a challenge for some individuals.
